MICA members participate in The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Anne Palfreyman, left and Nicole Ernst were among members of the Mahone Islands Conservation Association who recently spent serveral days picking up trash on a number of Mahone Bay islands. The project, which has over 35,000 registered volunteers, was part of The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, a week-long national program sponsored by TD Canada Trust and Clean Nova Scotia which is designed to help protect shoreline habitat across the country.
