Stewardship plays a vital role in the protection of island and marine environment of the bay.

Visitors to the islands can help keep the islands clean and enjoyable for all by observing the following guidelines:
  • No Littering: pack it in, pack it out
  • Keep your pets on a leash: Do not disturb the wildlife
  • Do not leave campfires unattended: keep fires small
  • Observe all fire bans
  • Bury human waste: or remove for placement in your boat's storage system

Each fall, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation invites people across Canada to participate in the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, which has grown into the second largest cleanup in the world. MICA encourages your participation and thanks you for your efforts.
