It was standing room only attendance at The Mahone Bay Centre for MICA's 3rd annual Islands History evening on September 15, 2010 with Ralph Getson from the Lunenburg Fisheries Museum. Mr. Getson made a presentation about the grounding of the freighter Mount Temple on West Ironbound Island in 1907 which gave an interesting glimpse into the life of the coastal communities and islands at that time. Also, on display were historical material acquired by MICA over the past year.
