3rd Annual Islands History Evening
September 15, 2010 at 7pm
At the Mahone Bay Center, Seniors Room.

Join the Mahone Islands Conservation Association for its 3rd annual Islands History evening. Ralph Getson from the Lunenburg Fisheries Museum will be make a presentation about the grounding of the freighter Mount Temple on West Ironbound Island in 1907. This talk will give an interesting glimpse into the life of the coastal communities and islands at that time. Also, on display will be historical material acquired by MICA over the past year. 8th Annual Gala Dinner and Auction Fundraiser

This popular event will again be held at the Oak Island Inn.
